About the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology)

Your urogynecology team at UC Irvine Medical Center provides a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction.

Our team includes urogynecologists, physical therapists and specially trained nurses and technicians.

In addition, we have a close working relationship with specialists in colorectal surgery, urology, gastroenterology, pain management and radiology.

Together, we provide comprehensive care using the latest technology to cure or relieve symptoms of prolapse, urinary or fecal incontinence, and other pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms.

Our physicians also participate in training the next generation of gynecologists and urogynecoloigists as active faculty in the UC Irvine Department of OB/GYN Residency and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship.

Our faculty and fellows are involved in cutting-edge research and speak around the nation on women's health.
